The Glamping Inspired Kitchen Transformation
We were so honored and excited when we received the call from this wonderful lady to come up with a fun updated look for her kitchen. We came up with a glamping inspired look for her kitchen.
Bringing The Outdoors To The Indoors
Learning that she and her pup love the outdoors and camping with family, we decided to bring the outside in for them to enjoy year round but without the heat and the bugs. Greens, woods and two toned cabinet colors came to mind.

What was on her wish list?
- Remove bulky upper cabinets. ✔️Yes ma’am!
- More storage. ✔️You got it!
- Add an island if possible. ✔️Mmmmm, we can do that.
- New lighting. ✔️Gotcha.
- New flooring. ✔️Gotcha.
- Do something with the fireplace. ✔️We have a great idea!
- Paint throughout. ✔️You got it!
All new cabinets to the ceiling, new lighting, flooring, paint throughout, fun sage hex backsplash, a super cute wood vent hood and a gorgeous island cart that we sanded and stained to match the vent hood.
The Fireplace
And that fireplace? We were going to paint it white at first, but decided since the walls were going to be really light, it would be a nice focal point painted Iron Ore and flow nicely with the kitchen as well as compliment her living room furniture.

We were happy to turn the kitchen back over to this sweet homeowner, but a little sad it was over and we wouldn’t get to visit with them like we were used to.
