Have you ever found a paint swatch that you loved, painted an entire room that color, only to wake up the next morning and absolutely hate it?
Well, have we got a fail proof way of picking the perfect color for YOU! Never have paint regrets again! In the past 30 years of remodeling and interior design, we started out making mistakes ourselves when it comes to wall paint color.
I remember years ago, Home Depot had a line of paint colors inspired by The Biltmore Estate in Ashville, North Carolina. I was obsessed with the dark burgundy dining room color and decided to take my builder grade beige dining room and bring the Biltmore into my Shreveport home through color. I painted for hours, due to the many layers it took to even the walls. Exhausted, I went to bed excited to wake to a brand new home. When I walked into my dining room, I was saddened by the darkness, and deep burgundy tone due to the many low lights in the space. UGH! Why did I do this? If only I had a way to test the paint color without painting on the wall.
Fast forward many years later, our friends at https://mysmallwall.com/ created these magnificent poster boards with adhesive strips on the back so you can conveniently paint on the boards, let them dry, then adhere them to the wall you want to paint. You get to see the paint color in the lighting (which always changes the colors) and make a sound decision before spending the money on paint and supplies.
Watch how we used them in one of our client’s kitchen, dining, and utility room remodel in Bossier City Louisiana.
