Home Design for Out of State Clients
Remember the client who lives in New York and purchased a lake house in Pennsylvania and hired us to help redesign the kitchen?They are FINISHED and the after pictures just came in!!
We give this client and contractor two major thumbs up!
Let’s recap what was on their wish list:
Non bearing wall between kitchen and living area removed.Wood look tile throughout.Beams.Two toned cabinetry.Island with seating.Brick backsplash.Bench at bay window for kids to look out.Smeg appliances.We gave the client specific measurement instructions for the home which allowed us to create the exiting floorplan. Their measurements were spot on.
Once we had the existing floorplan in our CAD software… it was time to reconfigure the space hitting all the client’s requests.
We discussed the layout, design style, material selections via phone, video and messages.
Once approved, we emailed the digital plans so they could share with their local contractor.
We received construction pictures throughout the process and were always available for questions.
To see what we designed together come to life makes us teary eyed. And finished just in time for the entire family to gather for Christmas. How wonderful!
