Homes is the Haven subdivision, built around 2001, is an 180 acre area tucked away between the Red River and East Bert Kouns, offers it’s residences serenity and beautiful surroundings. Being these homes are 20+ years, many homeowners are desiring an update or full home renovations.

So when one of our repeat clients called that they were ready to remodel their entire home, we were not only honored, but excited to come up with a new home design unique to this couple’s style and taste.

One of the areas of focus was their two sons bathroom. These young fellas were busy athletes who could really use a bathroom upgrade that would withstand many years of use. One of the first things the homeowners wanted was to remove the tub, and create a super cool walk-in shower.

We removed the original fiberglass shower and tub, added waterproofing, and installed these handsome black, large subway tile to the ceiling. This gave the space height and the illusion of being bigger than it is.

We focused on adding fun, moody elements like the open shelving above the commode, the black fixtures and black countertop that was a definite nod to the black shower tile.

The result was a fun, mature bathroom renovation for two growing boys to start and end their busy days. This one will definite last for another 20 years and when the homeowners are ready to remodel again, we will be ready.
